Where do I import the XML data for my advance VAT return into Elster?

In Elster, you can import the XML data for the advance VAT return as follows (open direct link in Elster):

Login to Elster Online

• Go to elster.de and log in with your access data.

Select the form:

• Click on ‘Forms’ in the main menu.
• Under ‘VAT’, select the ‘Advance VAT return’ form.

Importing data:

• Open the advance VAT return form.
• The form has an ‘Import data’ or ‘Data transfer’ option (often found in the tabs at the top of the form).
• Select the ‘Import’ option and upload your XML file.
• can export the XML file in advance in your SEEWARA account in the ‘Accounts’ module.
• There you will find the ‘Create VAT return’ function at the top right

Check and submit:

• After importing, you can check the data, make changes and submit the advance return.

These steps will help you to import the VAT data via XML and submit it correctly.
