What are the settings?

In the settings, you will find various tabs where you can enter information.

Document recognition

We currently use OpenAI to read the document parameters, such as the invoice creator (or recipient), invoice number, invoice date and total amount. If you use this service and enter an incoming invoice or outgoing invoice, your document will be transferred unencrypted to OpenAI in the USA and read. The OpenAI data protection regulations apply.

Document entry by email

You have the option of sending or forwarding your incoming and outgoing invoices to SEEWARA® to automatically include them in your document list.

The e-mails must be sent from the same e-mail address that corresponds to your SEEWARA® account. In your case, the e-mails must therefore be sent from xxx@yyy.zzz. Otherwise, the e-mails will be discarded.

Accepted are attachments of the file types PDF, JPEG and PNG.

You can see your personal email addresses below. You must send your incoming and outgoing invoices to the respective address so that the documents can be authenticated and processed by our system accordingly.

Note: Documents received by email are first stored unencrypted on our server and can only be encrypted the next time you – or your accountant – access your document list.

Personal data

Enter personal data such as name, address and contact details here. You can also delete your SEEWARA® account here.

Company

This is where you store your company data, such as tax data, VAT interval, and the name of your company or a different company address.

Contracts

As soon as you register for your personal account, you will have advance access to the general terms and conditions as a client or service provider.

The legal framework in the so-called triangular relationship is made up of the contractual relationship between Seewara and (1) the clients subject to accounting requirements, (2) the service providers with Seewara and (3) the contractual relationship between service providers and clients within the framework of their network.

For a successful cooperation according to (3), the terms and conditions and contracts for commissioned data processing provided by Seewara can be used as a legal framework. Service providers, on the other hand, are free to apply their own contractual conditions as the basis for the business relationship with clients, which must be regulated separately. In this regard and in the event of violations, Seewara will be held harmless from all claims.

Password & Security

Activate two-factor authentication here, store your email address, change your password and learn more about document encryption.

The key is your personal document key. It is used to encrypt and decrypt documents that you upload or that your accountant or tax advisor shares with you.

For security reasons, the key is not stored on SEEWARA® servers. This means that we have no knowledge of your key and therefore no access to your documents.

This also means that there is no way to decrypt your documents if you lose your key! Therefore, keep a copy of your document key in a safe place so that you can restore it in an emergency!

Subscription & payments

Manage your booked package here. With your registration, you are initially active in free mode. To be able to network with an accountant of your choice, book a paid package. You have various packages to choose from according to your needs for account assignment of receipts per month.

Notifications

Manage the settings for when you want to receive which notifications here. You have various options to be reminded or notified by our system.

Data export

Use the filter options to create the data export of your choice. After you click on ‘Request export’, the system will create your individual data export. Please plan accordingly, as the export can sometimes take a long time. You will receive a notification as soon as the data export is available for download.
